Coopervane ist eine in Hamburg von América Méndez, Elena Getzieh, Frederick Vidal und Ranil Beyer gegründete Künstlergruppe,
                                                                                die sich für die Fotografie als künstlerisches Ausdrucksmittel einsetzt.
                                                                                Alle beteiligten Künstler orientieren sich hierbei an den Grundsätzen, die schon im Gründungsstatut der Berliner Secession 1919 zusammengefasst wurden:

                                                                                "[Coopervane] wird von einer Anzahl Künstler gebildet, die im Sinne ihrer Kunst ideelle Unternehmungen vorhaben,
                                                                                welche sie, wie auch ihre Kunst, notwendigerweise von den bisherigen Künstlern trennen.
                                                                                Hauptgrundsätze sind: Wahrheit − Brüderlichkeit − Kunst."

                                                                                Die Werke der Mitglieder Coopervanes variieren stilistisch, doch liegt der Schwerpunkt aller in
                                                                                einer ästhetischen Verbundenheit zur Malerei.




                                                                                Coopervane is a group of artists founded in 2009 by América Méndez, Elena Getzieh, Frederick Vidal and Ranil Beyer.
                                                                                Primary objective is to use photography as an artistic expression.
                                                                                Coopervane‘s works are based on the principles of the Berlin Secession pronounced in their law of incorporation in 1919:

                                                                                "[Coopervane] is established by a number of artists who want to realize their art by means of ideational acts.
                                                                                These ideational acts and their art shall separate them from hitherto artists. Core principles are: truth − fraternalism − art."

                                                                                The art works of coopervane-artists vary in style and represent each artist‘s footprint.
                                                                                They unite in one essential element: all are aesthetically related to the art of painting.
